The 3 stove videos shown below use a double wall, self preheating design. These designs require that the pot sit on top of the stove to prevent the center flame from burning. It does not hurt to have the center burning along with the jets, but the fuel will not last as long. Instead, you can cut the bottom out of an additional nesting can and set this over the center of the stove after the jets light. Your pot can then go onto a higher pot stand to maximize the flame usage. Instead of notching and lashing the bottom bar onto the tripod, hang the bottom bar with a piece of paracord looped over the top of the tripod.
